Roll out your mats for a four part series of yoga for stress to help calm, tone and de-stress with yoga teacher, Terrie Foster
Stress is experienced by all of us and unfortunately it can turn our day upside down. There are many distractions in the day that don’t give us time to ourselves, time to breathe. In this four part yoga series with Yoga teacher Terrie Foster, we look at how to take control of breath and learn how to release any tension that has built up throughout the week to de-stress.
Join us every Friday this month by rolling your mat and taking time out for yourself.
In this yoga workout for stress series we look at relaxing the mind by concentrating on the breathing, using deep controlled inhales and exhales to clear the mind and allow the body to follow. Here the breath is your key and we will continue to keep this a constant throughout the sequence. This sequence will guide you through a steady and controlled dynamic flow that also focuses on core stability and strength while working on the whole body.
I am trained in Ashtanga and Vinyasa flow and a fully registered YOGA alliance UK YOGA teacher. I was lucky enough to complete my training in Goa, India. I feel this has enabled me to be creative and add my own unique spiritual style to my classes. I’m also trained in Children’s YOGA and Mindfulness and registered with YOGA Alliance as a fully qualified Children’s YOGA teacher – I was lucky enough to do my training in London with Jo Manuel. She is one of the UK’s leading experts on the long-term therapeutic benefits of YOGA for children.
